“You are about to step beyond words, beyond Gods and beyond what can be named. This is a journey into the Zero Point—the boundless source from which all realities arise. Read with openness, for this is not a lesson, but an initiation.”
Before the I AM
This text is not about God, nor about the deity of any religion. It is about something else—something before all gods. In fact, if you gathered every god humanity has ever imagined, with all their powers and vastness combined, they would vanish into insignificance, like a single grain of sand compared to all the deserts of Earth, when compared to the source of existence.
What we are about to turn toward is not a God, not a being, but the Unknowable Void from which all realities arise. This is No-Thing, the Zero Point, the Ein Sof, the unfathomable silence behind existence. Throughout history and in every culture, seekers have caught glimpses of it and called it by many names. It is this abyss of origin that these words will lead you toward. This is the rabbit hole, and you are invited to step in.
The Testimony of Seekers
This truth is not new. Across ages and civilisations, those who sought deeply encountered the same nameless ground of being. Though it can never be captured, they gave it names—gestures toward the ungraspable:
- Ancient Egypt: Nun — the formless waters before creation.
- India: Nirguna Brahman — the eternal without attributes; Neti Neti — “not this, not that.”
- Buddhism: Śūnyatā — Emptiness; Tathatā — Suchness; The Unborn.
- Taoism: Tao — “The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao.” The Way, the nameless origin.
- Ancient Greece: Apeiron — the Boundless; Plotinus’ One — beyond being, beyond thought.
- Kabbalah: Ein Sof — the Infinite, without end, before all emanations.
- Christian Mysticism: The Cloud of Unknowing — the Source beyond thought and reason.
- Sufism: Dhat — the unknowable essence; Al-Ḥaqq — “The Real” behind appearances.
- Indigenous Traditions: Wakan Tanka — the Great Mystery (Lakota); Dreaming — the timeless origin (Aboriginal).
- And now, even science has stumbled upon it. In physics, it is glimpsed in the Higgs field—the invisible fabric that gives mass to matter, without which no particle, no atom, no star, no human being could exist.
Others call it the Zero-Point Field, the quantum vacuum, the restless ground of reality itself. Even here, with equations and instruments, it remains a mystery without end.
The Three Absolutes of the Zero Point
If we dare to ascribe any qualities to the Zero Point, they are three absolutes—values so total they can belong to nothing else:
Omnipresence
It is everywhere. It cannot not be.
For the scientist, this is glimpsed in the Higgs field—the invisible lattice saturating the cosmos, giving matter its very weight.
For the seeker, this is the all-pervading presence that holds both silence and sound, stillness and motion.
There is no outside, no edge, no absence.
The Zero Point is here, now, always.
Omniscience
It knows, but not as a mind knows.
It holds, but not as a book holds.
It is the silent record of all that has ever been, all that is, and all that can be.
Mystics glimpse this in the Akashic records—the cosmic memory where every thought and deed is inscribed.
Nothing escapes its knowing, for it is the field in which knowing itself arises.
The Zero Point is awareness without limit.
Omnipotence
- It is the power of all that is. Not force, not domination, but the inexhaustible fullness of being.
Our telescopes can only see a fragment—perhaps 0.0034% of what exists.
The remaining 99.9966%—dark matter, dark energy, unseen dimensions—remains hidden within the Zero Point. Now keep in mind, what we consider ‘the light spectrum’ is just a single Aeon to Source the Zero point. And this unknown is the great reservoir of possibility, the wellspring from which galaxies flare and vanish.
The Zero Point is the womb of all, the power before power.
The Seal
These three absolutes—Omnipresence, Omniscience, and Omnipotence—are not qualities of a god or a being. No deity, no throne, no name can contain them. They belong to the Zero Point alone, the boundless source that is both nothing and everything.
It is the silence before the first word.
The darkness before the first light.
The mystery before the beginning.
And when was this?
Before time, before thought, before matter, before existence, before reality.
This is the beginning before the I AM.
