Follow No Man

“The true teacher speaks from within.”

There are eight billion people on Earth—eight billion unique journeys. No two paths are the same. Even twin brothers or sisters walk distinct roads, from the womb to the tomb.

In my view, the most dangerous person is the one who tries to squeeze everyone onto the same path—into one mindset, one religion, one system. Such a person is willing to sacrifice another’s sovereignty to satisfy their own beliefs.

The man who stands and proclaims, “Love is God—leave your religions, leave your gods, follow me and follow love” may appear noble. But inside, he is robbing others of their sovereignty, making himself the shepherd and them his sheep.

I have learned through suffering. I have learned through cults. I have learned through mistakes and pain. True growth comes from experience. Break a butterfly’s cocoon before it hatches, and it will never fly. The struggle strengthens its wings. In the same way, when we shield others from all suffering, we deny them the resilience life requires.

The ego-driven man—seeing himself as a modern-day messiah—cannot perceive the harm he causes when he asks others to follow him. But existence, love, and being itself all flow from the one eternal, omnipresent Source. That Source lives inside each of us.

The key is not to follow any man or woman. The key is to look in the mirror, look within, and refine who and what you are. Develop your sovereignty, your self-belief, your self-realization, and your self-knowledge. Learn to direct yourself, endure suffering, and master yourself.

Even as you read my words now, do not follow me. Let them guide you back to yourself. Learn from your own eyes, your own ears, your own heart. Let your inner guide be your true teacher.

Every answer, every lesson, every light begins—and ends—within you.

If you read the Bible, consider this: how can Jeremiah 31:34 be fulfilled unless you stop following men and begin knowing the Force within?

“No longer will each man teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquities and will remember their sins no more.”

Six hundred fifty years later, when Hebrew followers of Christ studied the scriptures, they emphasized the same point in Hebrews 8:11:

“No longer will each one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest.”

At this point in history the believers split into two groups, the Christians who followed Paul, and the Gnostics who followed Christ.

Nearly two thousand years later, during this great awakening, the time has come for you to trust your own heart and mind above those who say, “Follow me.” Trust your silence. Trust your convictions. Be no one’s sheep.
