My Kinda of Jazz, A solid foundation

This summer 2019 ICU will be relaunching, but taking a long hard look at rock bottom and what good has come from there. My uncle once told me, ‘what ever you do, build on a solid foundation’, and life has taught me ‘there is no more solid foundation than Rock bottom’.

Jazz is famously known to have been born around the time of the Great Depression in 1920’s America, Jazz and Rhythm & Blues seemed to be an antidote for the Great Depression. But if music was a cure in the 1920’s, is music still a cure today almost 100 years later?
